MIAMI BEACH, FL — Avant-garde composer, vocalist, and musicologist Romina Daniele has announced the global release and comprehensive archival restoration of Absence. Now available worldwide across major digital platforms and in premium physical formats via RDM Records, the release formally inaugurates the label’s newly established United States division.

Originally tracked during intensive 2015 research sessions in Milan, Absence serves as a definitive document of the Sheen project—conceived by Lorenzo Marranini and developed in close participation with Romina Daniele.

For this landmark release, Daniele’s contribution forms the foundational bedrock of the work's conceptual identity. The project draws its title, structural tension, and philosophical direction directly from her stark poem, 'Absence (or the threshold of my pain)'. Within the tracks, her raw, visceral vocal-textual interventions—ranging from intricate reciting and singing to extreme, unbridled vocal improvisations—slice through deep electronic environments and industrial masses.

As highlighted in the official technical sheets, this 2026 definitive edition features a meticulous new high-fidelity remastering process that exposes the subtle, microscopic layers of vocal architecture and concrete philosophy driving the work.
