ABSENCE is Sheen debut album, a project conceived by Lorenzo Marranini and developed in cooperation and participation with Romina Daniele, based on the mixture of different genres and on the indifferentiation, in an experimental key.

Deep and contrasting electronic sound environments, the result of an intense and laborious research on sound, relate to the moods of Lorenzo Marranini long musical experience, to combine with the avant-garde vocal and textual interventions by Romina Daniele.

The work is made and developed in the fundamental area of existential-philosophic conception and hence the title - Absence (No I) - and the structure of the album in which each composition corresponds to different moments of the concept and are numbered according to this. From the title of a poem by Romina Daniele - Assenza (o soglia del mio dolore) [Absence (or threshold of my pain)] - the concept behind the work is thus announced in Part I (or Intro) which now is the single titled Absence I.
